Now that I have read it, I can confirm that this is a work of genius and indeed a precious treat. Its about the importance of relationships, being willing to listen to and learn from each other, being creative and being willing to risk; its about imagining and generating constructive responses and initiatives rooted in the day-to-day challenges of violence and breaking destructive patterns and cycles. Its not an easy book to read (some parts are quite academic) but it is well worth the effort for its insights into peacemaking. Highly recommended! Vic Thiessen
