Daiwa Emcast® Plus Spinning Reel The Emcast® Plus reel is a smooth, balanced fishing machine with cannon-like castability. It has 10 ball bearings and one roller bearing for the smoothest retrieves every time. The ABS aluminum spool has a monstrous diameter that drastically reduces casting friction and makes for silky, consistent drag function. Oversized drag washers dissipate heat quickly. These reels have Gyro Spin balancing, along with a Twist Buster line roller that reduces line twist. The Infinite anti-reverse virtually eliminates back play and ensures solid hooksets. Each reel also has a one-touch folding handle. Comes with a spare aluminum spool. 4.6:1 gear ratio- holds 200 yds /30#- Weighs 26.0 oz. Good size on an 11 to 12 foot surf rod.
