Exquisite glass moonstone cabochon watch bracelet that is sooo colorful. The cabochons are pastel to midtone and remind one of jelly beans. Faux pearls are interspersed for balance. Goldtone plating is heavy and undamaged. There is a foldover clasp which is unmarked. The central grouping of cabochons lifts to reveal a watch that is marked Spats Quartz. There is a similar non-quartz watch bracelet in Judith Miller's Costume Jewelry book, where she dates that bracelet to the 1950s. Being quartz, however, this piece would date after 1969 when the first quartz watch was produced. This bracelet is in superb condition. A battery is in the watch, but has run down. If you order this bracelet, I will have a battery put in for you. If the watch doesn't run at that point, you can cancel your order. Of course, if you want the bracelet anyway, just for the beautiful bracelet that it is, we'll certainly continue with the transaction. Bracelet measures just over 7" long.
