When a mysterious person named Harry Kellerman starts spreading outrageous lies about him, Georgie Soloway (DUSTIN HOFFMAN), a successful rock composer, is drawn into an unusual examination of his life. For as he attempts to discover who the elusive Harry really is, George realizes he must first come to grips with the fact that fame and fortune do not make up for self-betrayal.
