A quick dip the strip test to measure phosphate in mains supply, pool or spa water in the range 0 - 2500 parts per billion (ppb). Results in about 15 seconds.

Fill sample tube to the 10ml line with the sample water. Take strip from pack and bend in two. Insert strip into sample tube with strip pads downward in tube. Cap tube and invert 5 times. Remove cap and strip and by looking down the open tube compare the colour of the sample water in the tube with the colour chart printed on the pack.
