This flooring is a prefinished engineered wood plank made in a tongue and groove construction. The 9/16 thickness offers many installation options and this flooring can be installed above, below and on grade. (upstairs, ground level, and basement) This flooring can be installed using a nail down method or a floating installation.
- NAIL DOWN: can be nailed to any structurally sound wooden subfloor. if this flooring is being installed using the nail down method in a basement or over a crawl space a plastic vapor barrier should be used between the flooring and subfloor.
- FLOAT: can be floated by gluing end joints and tongue and groove on top of any structurally sound subfloor, wood or concrete. In addition to the many types of installation methods, this floor comes factory finished which means you can move your furniture and start using your new floor the day that it is installed. Also, there will be no dust from sanding or finishing chemicals making prefinished flooring ideal for remodeling or new construction. FINISH: UV Cured Urethane and Aluminum Oxide This is REAL WOOD FLOORING, with a thick 3 mm veneer and can be sanded and refinished 2-3 times.
