Born a Seminole, Justin was adopted by the Bear Clan of the Blackfoot tribe. This gorgeous bag is a collaboration of sorts with another Indian Sun Galley Featured Artist: Chief Rice, of the Lakota tribe. Justin handcrafted the bag using genuine elk hide for the bag, fringe and strap and used a genuine fox face for the flap. A genuine abalone button, horsehair and Missouri River Snuff lids accent the one-of-a-king bag. The cow skull shield is Chief's contribution. Chief Rice is one of the finest traditional bead artists we have ever met. This intricate shield was completely handstitched by Chief himself. He chose to combine traditional pow wow colours with the image of a cowskull and the United States flag. This is a one-of-a-kind shield that took Chief over 65 hours to complete, starting with just thread and beads and finishing with this incredible piece. This is a special, one-of-a-kind bag that carries the spirit, craftsmanship and soul of two of our favourite artists. Measurements: (all measurements approximate) Bag: 12" by 7 1/2" wide; Strap: 40" long and 1 1/4" wide; fringe: 12" long; Horsehair: 20" long
