This magnificent Scepter-wand is a design created for the resident Magician at Gettysburgh Living History Museum.
Based on the esthestic principles prevalent during the mid-1800's, The "Noble Torch" shape is adorned with thirteen triple rings, painstakingly layered in Copper and Aluminum (which had been discovered in 1827 and was still considered a very rare and potent metal)
The base is set with an Semi-precious sphere, and the top with a natural Arkansas Quartz Crystal. The object is to find the crystal with a leaping, flame-like quality, and they are often the pitted, scarred ones, severed from their clusters. A fitting image of the upward striving of the flame!
In choosing your length, I recommend the "ell" measurement. Rest your elbow on the table, and measure from there to the tip of your index finger. Choose the length your measurement falls into, to calculate the price, and add the actual measurement into the notes when you order.
The price shown is the cost of the wood cutting alone- To choose stones or crystals for your wand, please visit this section
