Gorgeous runway style necklace and earrings by Monet. The V shaped collar necklace features links of gold nugget textured rectangles in great contrast with convex squares of highly polished gold tone metal. The plating is beautifully rich, akin to the color of 18k Gold. It is not a modest necklace, wear it if you wish to be remembered.
Dating from the 1970s, earrings are concave square clip backs, the same square seen on the necklace.
Measurements are, for the necklace minimum of 16" and maximum of 18" if the extender is used. It is so well made, even the tip of the extender is a gold nugget. Marked on a rectangular metal tag with Monet's maker mark. Earrings are 1 3/8" wide diagonally. Marked on the back of the clip, the reverse side of the earrings is beautifully finished in radiating brush texture.
In excellent vintage condition, a set to truly cherish.
