Conditioner. Ideally cools an area up to 400 sq.ft. Effectively improves

efficiency. The Sunpentown WA-1310E Portable A/C uses the new UL required
LCDI plug. The Sunpentown WA-1310E 13,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner
incorporates an Ionizer and new UV light technology to effectively kill
bacteria. The Sunpentown WA-1310E portable Air Conditioner uses
Auto-Evaporative Technology - during the cooling process, water is
extracted from the air into the unit. Most of this water is then
recycled and used to cool the cooling coils and make the WA-1310E run
more efficiently. The WA-1310E incorporates UV Germicidal lighting
technology to effectively inactivate microorganisms. Due to its short
wavelength, UV-C penetrate outer membranes of bacteria, yeasts, molds
and viruses - attacking the DNA which makes up their structure. By
breaking the chains within the DNA, the microorganism is then unable to
reproduce and die. UV Germicidal light has proven effective in a growing
number of applications where control of microorganisms is important.The
WA-1310E includes an ergonomic remote control and an easy to use
digital display.
