This Goebel figurine is from Lores Blumenkinder collection. It depicts a young girl having selected a flower from a bouquet in her other hand. It measures 6.75 tall.
This figurine was designed by Gerhard Bochmann in 1963, although it has an incised date of 1966. It is the very first figurine of the first edition of 12 Blumenkinder figurines, which were produced in limited quantities of 2,000 each. It also bears the Goebel TMK4 (three-line bee) back stamp.
There is a missing petal from one of the small blue flowers at the rear of the bouquet, which is the only flaw in this otherwise perfect piece. The flaw is difficult to detect and cannot be seen from the front.
