Installation: Lowering kit installation is not terribly difficult. Remove the old shocks, springs, spindles, shackles, or other components and replace them with the new ones. That's it. (Don't forget to have a first class wheel alignment done when you are finished.) However, what will be required by the do-it-yourselfer is time and strength. The parts can be heavy. The procedures are sometimes awkward and require special tools. And the fasteners (nuts and bolts) may be very tight. Also, as with installing any new suspension component, you will typically find related parts that are worn and need replacing (i.e. tie-rod ends). To do a good job, be prepared to take your time, so while you are there, you can give the entire suspension/chassis a once over.
Tech Notes: Lowering may vary due to engine size and /or model.
