H&R understands that many vehicle owners modify their vehicles for increased performance but at the same time these are also meant for daily driving. Thus H&R created their coilovers with these two points in mind: driver comfort and performance.
H&R’s coil over lineup covers the entire spectrum from entry level tuners to track only cars and anything in between. Although their line up has products that cater to different areas of the modifying industry, all of their coilovers share quality in material and design. Each coilover system by H&R is constructed with quality metals that are chosen and used to prevent deterioration and rusting and each shock is made of a mono-tube gas shock design. On top of the construction each spring and shock in the system are specifically designed to fit each other and the vehicle. Each coilover system features fully adjustable spring heights and progressive spring rates.
The H&R PCS Coilovers Suspension Kit is similar in approach to their Street Performance Coilovers model: designed for vehicles that are primarily daily drivers but are also used for the track. The difference with this PCS Coil Over System is that this kit allows for the adjustment of the dampening rate of their mono-tube designed shocks. This feature makes this kit more advanced than the Street Performance model because it allows for both ride height and damper adjustment. The change in dampening is done by an external adjustment knob that allows drivers to adjust for daily driving but when they bring their vehicles to an auto-cross or road race even they can adjust it to a more stiffer and aggressive damper rate.
