Bavaria Germany Colonial People gold trimmed decorative plate in rich red and gold on a white background. The central design is a transferware pattern, also richly colored and quite dramatic. This plate measures 10 3/8" across. There is mild gold loss on the rim and in some of the dividing lines of the outer pattern, but this is a beautiful plate ready for your display shelf or cabinet. This plate is very much like Bavaria China's pattern number 274, although that plate is in green. The back of the plate is marked as shown in the photo. No chips, cracks or crazing.
