Do you suffer from an allergy to ragweed? Take the plant before it flowers, break it into small pieces and pound them into a powder. Put a pinch of this "on each of seven mornings, upon the left palm while the word laedo is uttered shall serve to weaken the plant's powers over the afflicted."
Then it teaches you the basics of making amulets and talismans, how to use scented oils and incenses, how to make your own balms and tinctures and much more.
The next section gives specific designs for talismans or amulets. Over 60 different designs are described along with directions on how to make them. Do you want wealth? On one side of your talisman draw the full rayed Sun enclosing a crescent Moon and three stars. Upon the reverse write "Yet earthly gold I soon shall hold." Do you want to lose weight? On the front of the charm draw the Full Moon flanked by crescent Moons. On the other side write, "Wax thou moon, that I may wane; What I lose, then shalt thou gain."
