The HTG-V4PCIe board is powered by Xilinx Virtex-4 XC4VFX100-FF1152 with sixteen RocketIO Multi Gigabit Transceivers, two IBM 405 PowerPC® processors, four hard-coded Gigabit Ethernet Media Access Controllers (MAC) , and more than 94,000 FPGA logic cells. The HTG-V4PCIe is also available with XC4VFX60-FF1152.
The HTG-V4PCIe provides wide variety of connectors and interfaces including ;one PCI Express 8-lane upstream (end-point), one PCI Express 4-lane downstream, two Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000), two Serial ATA (SATA), one Secure Digital (SD), one SPF, four SMA (connected to one RocketIO MGT channel), one USB 2.0 host and General Purpose I/Os (GPIO)
The HTG-V4PCIe board provides access to up to 2 GB of DDR2 memory through one set of SO-DIMM socket as well as 256 MB of mounted and 4 MB of Flash on the board.
The HTG-V4PCIe can be used either as stand-alone or PCI Express based card. This provides additional functionality and cost saving so designers can use the board for multiple designs and projects.
