A jumbo card is shown to the audience. It has one spot on a side and our spots on the other side. It is shown again. this time three spots are displayed on one side and six spots on the other. The magician proceeds to explain to the audience how the trick is done and everyone understands.

They believe they have understood, that is... until they find out that what the magician has said ...is wrong!
The real surprise is at the end... when eight spots are found on the reverse side! The spots seem to appear from thin air!!!
