Identical dimensions to the Alessi Sapper Oval Copper Casserole but made from Multi-ply which is light, durable and good looking.

- Complete with a domed stainless steel lid.
- Multi-ply material consists of three different layers. The inner lining is a thin layer of 18/10 stainless steel which is non-toxic and easy to clean. An outer skin of hard wearing AISI 430 steel sandwiches an inner core of aluminium for light weight and excellent thermal conduction.
- Handles are chunky investment cast stainless steel with a textured finish which mimics traditional cast iron without the disadvantage of potential corrosion.
- Suitable for use on the stove, in the oven and looks great on the table.
Multi-ply material: Aluminium has thermal properties similar to copper but is far less expensive and much lighter.
Pans made from aluminium take less heat to achieve the desired temperature and so heat up and cool down more quickly than cast iron or solid steel giving the chef much more control.
the excellent thermal conductivity of the aluminium gives even heat distribution across the base and up the sides.
There are well known health concerns with raw aluminium pans and so Alessi have sandwiched the aluminium core between a hard wearing AISI 430 steel outer skin and a non toxic easy clean 18/10 stainless steel inner shell. They have achieved an excellent balance of usability, low weight and durability at a price very much lower than copper pans.
