One of the original ranges of Professional quality knives manufactured by Henckels. This range includes a classic triple rivetted handle - a proven design, popular with chefs and home cooks for many years.
Henckels Professional S knives have a full tang and corrosion resistant blades. They are very well blanced and comfortable in the hand. Henckels have used their own patented technology in the production of these knives - Friodur ice hardening and Synter Compnent Technology. This results in exceptionally good quality blades.

Care and use - Henckels Professional S Knives
- Cleaning We recommend that all knives are washed individually and immediately after use.
For best results use warm water and a soft sponge.
Dry immediately with a soft cloth and store carefully.
This is the safest way to clean knives - no dried on foodstuffs to rub off.
This is also the best way to reduce corrosion.
Stainless steel is not 100% rustproof and can be attacked by food acids (this is true of all manufacturers).
- Sharpening your knivesWe recommend that you sharpen your knives regularly.Every time that you use your knife is best.Your knives will be easier to use and safer to use.A sharp knife is a safe knife - accidents happen most often with dull knives.
- Storing your knivesAlways store carefully in a knife block or on a magnetic rackNever store loose in a drawer - it isn't safe.Never store loose in a drawer - a sharp knife has a fine edge - this is easily damaged.
- Using your knivesOnly chop on to surfaces like wood or plastic.Never chop on to hard surfaces like marble, glass or stainless steel.Use only for food preparation.Never chop on to bones or other hard surfaces.

Henckels supply a large range of knives - each designed for a particular purpose. It is always easier and safer to use a knife that has been designed for the job in hand. ( there is no such thing as a general purpose knife!)
