Brass Dog Tag set

These tags are solid brass. You can have them imprinted with your information or you can purchase them blank.

The United States Navy used brass tags for a very short time during the begining of WWII before the Department of Defense standardized all identification tags between the various branches of service.

These tags are not current issue as the military has not used brass identification tags for over 50 years. The brass tag blanks are made on the same tooling as the current issue tags so they are the same size and shape as the current issue the only difference is the material, they are solid brass.

DogTagsRus debosses (imprints) these tags on original military Addressograph Graphotype equipment.

These tags are new and are made from solid brass. They will tarnish the same as any other brass objects. The brass tags may be polished using standard store bought metal polish.
