Black Jade Lantern - Flowering Black Tea
In Yunnan province, China, new buds are plucked, carefully prepared, then dried, yielding rich golden tips. The leaves are then sewn into small lantern shapes. When steeped, the leaves blossom into a smooth brisk liquor, slighly choclaty with hints of sweetness.
FLOWERING LOOSE BLACK TEAS
Black teas are withered and fully oxidized (exposed to oxygen). Black tea leaves are also broken or bruised which breaks the enzymes. Both these processes turn the leaves dark. Black teas have a rich, bold, malty, and sometimes floral taste. Numi also offers these other artisan loose teas: White and Green.
Flowering Tea comes in a white organza bag. Three buds per bag. Steeping instructions are included. Each bud may be steeped 3 times.
