This series flooring is a 3/4" prefinished solid wood plank strip made in a tongue and groove construction. This flooring is 3 1/2" wide and the planks are random length.
This is a square edge flooring, giving the final appearance of a "sanded-in-place" floor. Unlike many prefinished floors, there is no microbeveled edge which creates grooves after the floor is laid.
This flooring offers many installation options and this flooring can be installed above, below and on grade. (upstairs, ground level, and basement) This flooring should be installed using the traditional nail down method.
- NAIL DOWN: can be nailed to any structurally sound wooden subfloor. if this flooring is being installed using the nail down method in a basement or over a crawl space a plastic vapor barrier should be used between the flooring and subfloor.
In addition to the many types of installation methods, this floor comes factory finished which means you can move your furniture and start using your new floor the day that it is installed. Also, there will be no dust from sanding or finishing chemicals making prefinished flooring ideal for remodeling or new construction.
This is REAL SOLID WOOD FLOORING, not laminate or veneer, which means that you can sand and refinish or make repairs easily. Because this is solid wood it will last for years to come.
