Clicker 5 is the latest version of Clicker
It has a modern look and is based on the latest technologies. A single file contains grids, pictures, sounds and video, making it easy to share your sets of grids.

Clicker 5 is packed with fantastic new features:
- Edit Mode makes it easy to create grids
- Cell Palettes contain ready-made cells with different shapes and actions - simply drag them onto the grid!
- Realistic software speech with a UK accent
- Words are highlighted when spoken
- Pop-up grids for labelling activities, and for writing talking books
- Direct access to LearningGrids.com within Clicker
- Use MP3 sound files and MPEG video
- A highly detailed educational picture library, with even more images
Clicker Writer is Clicker 5' s talking word processor - you can type into this with the keyboard, or you can click on items in the Clicker Grid to send them into Clicker Writer. You can hear words in the Clicker Grid before you write, or hear what you've written in Clicker Writer. You can also use full-screen Clicker Grids (without Clicker Writer) to create multimedia presentations and talking books.

You can also record your own speech in Clicker, or use other speech engines. If you wish you can add your own images and if you have Penfriend XP or Penfriend XL installed on your computer, you can have word prediction within your Clicker Grids.
As well as the picture library that comes with Clicker, you can also use your own pictures, or other ready-made picture libraries.
