This grade three eight reale has a great Crusader's Cross on the reverse. It is grade one quality, and with wearing it will come out even more and be more visible. The obverse shows a great deal of seawear, but I have seen coins like this called grade twos. A grade three coin sells in Key West for $1400 and up with no bezel. This one has a heavy 14 kt. yellow gold bezel with a boat shackle at the top. This coin is perfect for the person who doesn't want to spend grade one money for a fabulous Atocha coin. (There is even a little bit of a date showing, but we will give that to you.)
