This gold coin was found on an unknown shipwreck off of the Isle of Wight, England. It is a British Noble denomination coin which was minted during the reign of Edward III of England, 1327-1377. There is the stylized shield of Edward on the obverse, with a wonderful cross on the reverse. This coin is highly sought after and collectible. It is mounted in a 14 kt. white gold bezel with a yellow gold bale at the top. Two very nice emeralds are added as well to give it the right touch of the sea. Beautiful is the only word that can describe this nearly 600 year old coin.
