This is the definitive Best Of collection, featuring material from the band's first releases with RCA on through to their most recent, Solemn Sun Setting. As a best-of anthology,"In a Perfect World" works well by being a solid selection from Human Drama's catalogue. It may be quicker to listen to 14,384 Days Later because of it's unifying live sound, but this is still a wonderful release, and, unlike some Best Of… albums, this is an excellent starting place for new listeners, who will be able to choose their favorite style and branch out slowly from there.
