You can call Tenchi Masaki a lot of things, but you can't call him lonely. After all, the befuddled teenager shares close quarters with space pirate Ryoko, alien princesses Ayeka and Sasami, mad genius Washu, ditzy galactic cop Mihoshi, and a houseful of other friends, enemies, and hangers-on. But there's one person who hasn't been a part of Tenchi's hectic life: his mother, who died when he was a little boy...or so he's always thought.
