CD-R Audio
Recordable audio CD-Rs/CD-RWs let you record
with the sound quality of a CD from a variety of audio sources.
The set specification of Orange Book 3.1 has been expanded
to include the new official standards which allow more than 74 minutes recording/playback.
To coincide with this improved specification,Maxell has introduced
the new CD-R XLII 80 MU PRO into the market.
Maxell's advanced research and development in optical disk technology
has resulted in narrowing the track pitch, maximising the recording density
and lengthening the recording/playing time to 80minutes (precisely 79mins. 57secs).
The CD-R XLII 80 discs are a write-once type, on which recording can be done only once.
Maxell's recordable home CD-R discs use newly developed highly
sensitive pigments to improve playback signals of discs and increase read margins,
allowing high compatibility and reliability when their data are read by a CD player.
Furthermore, Maxell's original protective layer strengthens the surface of the disc,
giving it higher physical durability. For the recordable home CD-RW discs,
the phase-change recording film is designed for optimum heat resistance
so that recording marks can be formed with high precision, yielding outstanding reliability and re-recording durability.
In the future, recordable home CD-RW discs are expected to spread widely
and rapidly among audio users, particularly enthusiasts highly interested
in sound quality, as a recording medium that can provide the same quality of sound reproduction as traditional CDs.
Features of recordable CD-R Audio

CD recorders.
2. Uses original highly sensitive pigments to improve playback signals and increase read
margins, allowing high compatibility and reliability when their data are read by a CD
player.
3. Maxell's original reflective film and protective film strengthen the disc's surface,
improving durability in handling and transport.
