These bag handle spindle were originally turned for Joann McLean, CDA. She says "The idea for these fun and very functional little wood turnings came about after shopping with a friend who had severe disabilities caused by rheumatoid arthritis and who was unable to carry her shopping bags for any length of time.

The smooth turned wood handle is a nice size for most hands to grip comfortably and you can carry more than one bag on each handle and still distribute the weight evenly.

I have really had fun with the designs for these and have oodles more ideas yet to paint up - make sure you check back often to see what new designs may be here!"
