Mystic is a dedicated computer for barometric pressure and outdoor temperature measurement.
It digitally displays both barometric pressure and temperature in four different modes, including present, high and low. What makes Mystic unique, however, is the fourth function: "Rate of Change" for barometric pressure, and linked with Merlin in one of our weather stations, "Wind Chill."
Barometric Rate of Change - one of the most important indicators of changes in the weather - shows the speed of changing pressure in inches/hour.
LED's show which of the eight modes is being displayed, with readings in bright, half-inch high digits. Combined with Merlin and Rainwatch Mystic in the Blackwatch weather station, you get a comprehensive view of the weather. Mystic is protected by a 15-hour backup that will handle most power outages, and preserve any data logged at the time of power interruption.
