C&T publishing is donating all profits from the sale of this book to the Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund.
My Quilt "Sunbonnet Sue in New York" is one of the quilts in the book.
The quilts were all made in the days following September 11th, 2001. They hung together in late October 2001 as part of the Houston International Quilt Festival. The statement and quilt were all finished within one month of the attacks. Reading the book now brings chills. The emotions expressed were so raw when this book was put together. The death count in New York was still being finalized.
I am proud to be a part of this collection of quilts. It is an exhibit that shouldn't be forgotten. -- Kim Bunchuck
