This 32 page paper-bound book is printed in full-color. It features instructions and patterns for making 10 different traditional quilts. Each quilt was found in the author's grandmother's house. She has finished the unfished ones and published them all with stories and poems.

The Sunbonnet Sue quilt in the book has an interesting shaped hat. The author has dubed the quilt "Lampshade Lucy" and written a poem about her. It goes... Lucy was always different, and no one ever knew that she was a first cousin of sunbonnet-wearing Sue She was always proper, living strictly by the book. Lucy like to be unique, always making others look. Sue was having a patch party next week, the invite said and the only thing Lucy could "sew" were weeds in her flower bed She goes on to explain how she wore a lampshade instead of a sunbonnet. It is a lovely book filled with traditional patterns.
