All About Eve did an electric tour of the UK in May 2002. Cinemasonic is a live album recorded during that tour showcasing songs from which will appear on their first new studio album for a decade. The line-up included Rik Carter on keyboards (ex-Mission) and Del Hood on drums. The CD features 11 tracks (5 new songs). In 1985 All About Eve release their first single, Sounds journalist Chris Roberts compared singer Julianne Regan to Kate Bush and describes the song as "a gouache Baltic ballad with stirring vocal interplay and a heart like a dynamometer." Their Second single 'In The Clouds' is released to unanimous critical acclaim. It's named Single Of The Week in Sounds. The next single 'Our Summer' is awarded Single Of The Week in Melody Maker. In 1987, All About Eve sign a deal with music industry giants Phonogram and set about writing and recording their first album. The album goes double gold, selling in excess of a quarter of a million copies in a short space of time. It also spawns five hit singles, including the haunting acoustic ballad 'Martha's Harbour' which goes Top Ten and spends over two months in the Charts. From such an incredible start the band eventually split in 1992. In 2000 the band reform and perform a sell-out Christmas 2000 show at London's Union Chapel. In December 2001, they repeated their sell-out of the Union Chapel, which looks like becoming an annual event.
