The sensual vocals of singer songwriter Jack Cryer go on national release as her debut solo album THE WAY I FEEL hits the record stores on 31st August. With a single from the album to follow in the Autumn this strikingly different female artist is set to make her mark on the charts.
Described as somewhere between K D Lang and Eva Cassidy - Jack, daughter of comedian Barry Cryer, says "Making the album has been a complete adventure, right from the planning stages, through checking the equipment at base camp to the full-scale ascent. No yetis but loads of beautiful scenery!"
The 12-track album moves from upbeat to melancholic with down right mellow in between as Jack takes you through the way she really feels from Sweet Times to Thoughts of You. An experienced, skilful singer, Jack has co-written with her idiosyncratic guitar player Steve Noyce. She's been a regular at London's singer songwriter venue The Kashmir Klub and Brighton's Joogleberrys and is planning intimate venue tour dates to coincide with the release of the single.
