in The "Al-Jami-al-Sahih' (Sahih Al Bukhari) Imam Bukhari had recorded all the Sayings of the Prophet which he found to be genuine after thorough examination and scrutiny. He spent sixteen years in research and examined more than sixty thousand Sayings from which he selected some 7,275 Sayings whose genuineness and accuracy he established beyond the slightest doubt. Deducting duplicates, the Imam's collection contain about four thousand distinct Sayings. Imam al-muhaddithin Imam Abu `Abdullah Muhammad ibn Ismail al-Bukhari was born in Shawwal, 194AH, in the famous city of Bukhara, of the land "beyond the canal" - present day Uzbekistan -. The father of Imam Bukhari, Isma`il ibn Ibrahim ibn Mughirah al-Ja`fi, was a great muhaddith and ascetic from whom he inherited his characteristics of literary zeal and excellence. During his childhood his father died and his mother took on the entire responsibility of bringing him up

SHAYKH ABU YUSUF RIYADH UL HAQ is a graduate of Darul Uloom Al-Arabiya Al-Islamiya, a madrasa located in Northern England. There, he completed his studies in Quran, Hadith, Arabic, Hanafi Fiqh and general Islamic Studies. After graduating in 1991, Shaykh Riyadh ul Haq remained active in teaching and spreading the message of Islam. Currently, he is a teacher of Hadith, Arabic and Islamic Studies at Madinat ul Uloom Al-Islamiya.
Known for his inspirational speaking style, Shaykh Riyadh ul Haq has traveled extensively to give lectures on Islamic subjects.
