This lovely old-timer style model is factory-built with laser-cut balsa construction and factory fitted, glued-in control snakes, installed servo tray with velcro gear-retaining band - just some of the deluxe finishing touches found in this superb model.
An ingenious sprung motor mount shock absorber system is built in to reduce the stress of nose-in arrivals!
The 2-part plug-in wing panels are designed so that transport of this 4 foot (755mm) wingspan model is easy. Transparent, Profilm-covered fuselage and flying surfaces reveal the stunning quality of the laser-cut open frame structure beneath - this is a jewel of a model that will be the envy of other pilots.
The control surfaces are top surface hinged by the covering material and move completely freely - out of the box. A full colour assembly guide is included detailing RC installation and final assembly. All pushrods and control horns are included and the wing is retained with 2 sensible-sized nylon retaining bolts at the trailing edge section.
There's even a little repair kit containing spare film and wood parts!
Our production model weighed just 296 grams (just over 10 ounces!) out of the box INCLUDING motor and gearbox - but excluding the 105 gram 8-cell nimh pack. At this amazing weight we were getting 20 minute flights!
