This is a vintage circa 1940's wood cased multi-band shortwave tube radio by Montgomery Ward. It is an airline WG-125 as marked on the case, chassis is marked with model 14WG-806A. Radio, when working, had lighted bars between the dials, these glass bars, the faceplate, dials and tuning buttons and knobs are all included and intact with no breaks or damage. Radio case shows only light wear, no major damage or deep scratches and no breaks.
The inside of the radio is in need of a good restoration. Power cord is heavily dry-rotted, radio is untested. The speaker is not attached and is just sitting sideways next to the chassis and the speaker paper is torn. Refer to photos for a better idea of the condition. This is a pretty large table model radio, it measures almost 21 1/2 inches wide.
Radio is pictured in as-found condition, and no repairs or restoration was done prior to photographing, except for a quick wipe-down.
