This interesting silver medal by John Roettier commemorates the British colonization of the world in 1670 (MI i 546/203). It celebrates the diffusion of the British to India, North America and Asia. The reverse shows the globe, as it was understood in 1670. The diameter is 42mm and the condition EF. The medal is nicely toned. This medal has been SOLD.
