The VSF-55-XL Vacuums up wash water through a 200 micron dirt/sand filter. The filter is about this size of a five gallon trash bag.
Once filtered an automatic sump pump discharges the water through a 30 foot x 1.5 inch discharge hose. The discharged water may be placed in a holding tank or directed to a sanitary sewer.
The VSF-55-XL is perfect for use with the Vacu-Boom System to prevent waste water run off. Use the VSF-55-XL and Vacu-Boom in conjunction with oil absorbent booms to collect and remove oil sheen from waste water.

Photo shows VSF-55 being used with an oil boom, vacu-boom, and portable dam, which are all sold separately. The oil boom removes the oil sheen from the waste water run off. The vacu-boom collects the water from the pavement. The water filled portable dam is used as a back up to the vacu-dam in the event of power failure. (i.e. The GFCI being tripped due to the circuit getting wet.)
