Unlike many of the down pipes in the market today, the Tanabe Turbine Tube includes an Exhaust Gas Temperature bung and cap. The EGT bung allows enthusiasts who want to monitor exhaust gas temperatures the ability to do so without the need for additional modifications. For certain applications, the Tanabe Turbine Tube also incorporates an O2 sensor port. Many aftermarket down pipes eliminate this port, resulting in check engine lights and excessive gas consumption.
