The K&N 57 Series Gen1 air intake kit comes with the air filter, brackets, bolts, and coupling (if needed) to fit the filter to your car's intake system. The K&N 57 Series Gen1 kit uses your car's stock intake pipe while the Gen2 kit comes with the intake pipe for a complete upgrade.
