DVD format, 85 minutes, narrated in Hmong, this documentary traced the history of the Hmong in China from Chiyou's time, some 5000 years ago, to the last Hmong rebellion (1855-1873) led by General Zhang Xiumei. Produced in 2000, this video has been one of the most admired documentaries on Hmong history. It traced the migration trail of the Hmong as they were being forced by the Chinese to move southwestward into today areas.
