The Comfort Contego is a wireless communication system designed to improve and enhance the quality of sound. It is unique from other wireless systems due to its digital radio system that transmits high sound quality over secure channels. This version includes an earphone and headphone.
Modern Design Transmitter and Receiver
The Contego features a smart and discreet contemporary appearance designed for functionally, form and discretion. Both the transmitter and the receiver have built-in microphones that are user adjustable for maximum sound customization. The microphones can be set for omnidirectional or directional based on the environment. Volume level can be remotely adjusted.
Maximum Functionality
Contego is the basis for a total sound solution for the hearing impaired using a headset or for t-coil equipped hearing aid users using an optional neckloop. Using a wide range of optional accessories, Contego can be linked to a television, sound system, telephone, or other sound source.
Ease of Use
The Comfort Contego is a practical solution for the work environment, such as in meetings, groups, seminars or lectures. At home, the system can be used at the dining table, while watching TV or with another sound source. While out and about (in restaurants, the car, stores, etc.), the system helps reduce background noise to focus on desired sounds. The receiver itself may also be used as a standalone personal listener. The Contego's digital radio system feature makes it a good option for those who desire a secure communication system that cannot be eavesdropped electronically (courtrooms, government offices, etc.). An unlimited number additional receivers to be used with one transmitter (additional receivers available separately), making this an ideal solution for guided tours, classrooms, courtrooms, etc.
Range
Working range is approximately 25 meters (82 feet) depending on the type of environment you're in. It can achieve up to 16 hours of use (under normal conditions) before needing to be recharged. The Contego uses Li-Ion rechargeable batteries.
This Contego system comes with an earphone and headphone. For t-coil hearing aid wearers, a Contego system with a neckloop is available. Two year warranty.
