Vintage Planters Mr Peanut Plastic Advertising Toy Bank 1960’s Mr Peanut tan painted plastic advertising bank. Mr Peanut was introduced by Planters Peanuts as the company logo/mascot in 1916. Since his introduction Mr Peanut has become very popular and Planters Peanuts began using the mascot on a variety of advertising items such as: clocks, plastic coffee mugs and ashtrays.
