This deck of cards is marked so subtley, that you can actually hand it to someone and TELL them it's marked, and ask them to try to find the markings, and chances are great that they WON'T be able to! (When you first receive your deck, DON'T read the directions. Try to find the markings yourself, and you'll see what we mean.) ...And, even better yet, if they happen to see a small "SOMETHING" on the back of the card, they WON'T be able to interpret it!!!
Furthermore, this is not some 'stick-on' that you have to worry about when, or if, the stick-ons will fall off. You can use this deck as brutally as you want to, as the markings are PART of the card. They will last as long as the deck lasts, period.
This deck has totally eliminated the biggest problem in marking decks...that is, having to COUNT to a certain number, in order to know what the card is. For instance, you count how many petals are on the flower, or how many hashmarks are used. Counting from one to thirteen can take a LOOOOOOONG time. If they markings are small enough to be subtle, it can make it impossible to do quickly. For time immemorial, this has been the greatest difficulty in marking decks.
Verne put his creative skills to work, and developed a deck that ELIMINATES the need to count! Yet the marks are so subtle (and, NO, the markings are NOT letters and numbers on the back....this is a technique that is totally NEW), that you won't know they are there, unless you are 'in the know'! You can simply GLANCE at a card, and you'll know what it is! Verne has eliminated the centuries old technique of laboriously counting for each card!
This deck does NOT use some daub, or paint that only shows up if you look through a red sheet of plastic, in fact, there is NOTHING but the deck itself, that you need, in order to read the cards.

The Grifter's Professional Marked Deck requires you to be within a foot, to 18 inches, in order to read them (approximately the distance created by stretching your arm out from your body, and looking at your hand).

They will KNOW it's an honest deck if they unwrap it.
