This is an original etching by one of the most prolific and versatile Native American artists of the 20th century. Born in 1938, Woody Crumbo, a Potowatomi Indian from Oklahoma, became known for his ability to communicate the spirit of the Native American and his yearnings for harmony and peace with the world around him. This original etching depicts a deer lying by her fawn and measures 4" wide by 5 3/8" tall. It has been framed and the entire frame measures 11" by 14."
