Designed to be a follow-up series of sessions for children who have professed faith following ALF (About Life & Faith), but can stand-alone as a new christians course in its own right.

Leader's Guide
40 page A4 format book with teaching outlines and structure for 5 sessions. Topics: The Bible: God's Special Book. Prayer: Your special way of talking with God. The Holy Spirit: God's Special Helper. Changed Life: A new, special way to live. The Church: God's Special Family.
Each session is complete with attention grabbers, a Bible story and ways to test comprehension, fun-based activities for various age groups, memory verse, Dr Luke's challenge (completing the activity sheets), and application points, with worship and prayer suggestions. Also with picture and poster for use in the sessions, explanatory notes and five planning sections for you to delegate responsibilities to various members of your team.
KidZone Silver
four-page photocopiable activity sheet for each of the five sessions, designed to help children discover more about the theme of each session. Part of Dr Luke's challenge, each sheet has activities for older and younger children. You are permitted to make as many copies of these sheets as you need.
Audio CD
New and familiar songs (all of which can be found in the 250 Songs for Children's Praise & Worship songbook), selected to enhance the themes of each session. Plus stories for sessions 2, 3 and 5, with a quiz to use in Session 2 and a rhyme for use in Session 5.
CD-ROM
Additional resources for you to print out and use, including invitations, memory verse cards, letters for parents and your pastor. Plus a Powerpoint presentation to assist the memory verse learning in Session 4 (requires Microsoft Powerpoint), and all the words to all the songs in a form suitable to print out and photocopy onto overhead acetates or for use with projection software. There are also some helpful links to websites with recommended resources.

These sessions have been crafted together by members of the Children's Ministry Teaching Programme editorial team, using all the skills and experience at their disposal, in association with Viz-a-Viz. The course is designed to act as a link from ALF to regular use of the Teaching Programme.
