This model features a major improvement over previous models. We have molded a tough rubber into the bottom of the cup. The rubber acts as a counterweight and the new construction requires no bolts, rivets, adhesives, etc., making it a maintenance-free, rattle-free item. The rubber has been custom colored to complement the cup. This aluminum has been degreased and highly polished with a special electro-chemical process to remove any oxidation, eliminating the residue which untreated aluminum typically leaves on your hands.
