The photos are taken with a range of equmpment, including the Nikon (D1x, F100, F3), Contax 645, Fuji Rangefinder, Fuji S2, Leica (M7, MP). Depending on where I am traveling to and the subject matter, I choose my equipment accordingly. The digital revolution also adds a whole new dimension to the photography equation. However, despite of the technology used, the combination of light, aperture, shutter speed, and composition determines the "feel" of the image. My intention is to bring out the essence of the image in order to make it more vibrant as a print, while at the same time conveying the feelings evoked at the instant I captured the image. I also like colours so my pictures tend to be very colourful, saturated with high contrast .
