The charger uses a smart 12 bit microprocessor to manage the full charging cycle, It
- Allows you to change individual batteries when charged allowing other batteries to continue charging thus speeding up charging when you have large numbers of batteries
- Allows you to unplug charger and resume charging at another socket (e.g start at home and finish charging at work)
- Protects the battery from overheating, overloading and overcharging prolonging the life of the battery
- Manages the ultra fast initial charging and will finish off with a 50mA trickle charge to ensure the battery is fully charged in spite of the speed.
- Has a lit up LCD display showing the status of each of the four charging battieries.
- Has non rechargeable battery detection.

2 x aa 2500 = 2.3 hr 2 x aaa 900 = 1.5hr
3 x aa 2500 = 3.5 hr 3 x aaa 900 = 2.3hr
4 x aa 2500 = 4.5 hr 4 x aaa 900 = 3hr
I have been looking long and hard for chargers which provide this performance, flexability and are good for the life of the battery. Many people have asked me for advise on the type of charger to get and I have not been able to give a confident answer.
